{"id":246,"date":"2024-07-28T16:33:46","date_gmt":"2024-07-28T16:33:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.escolatecnos.cat\/biogeo\/?p=246"},"modified":"2024-07-28T16:33:46","modified_gmt":"2024-07-28T16:33:46","slug":"knock-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.escolatecnos.cat\/biogeo\/index.php\/2024\/07\/28\/knock-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Knock-Out"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Knock-Out \u00e9s una situaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aprenentatge, basada en &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/proyectandobiogeo\/drug-research?authuser=0\">Drug Research<\/a>&#8221; (Jordi Dom\u00e8nech), on es planteja a l\u2019alumnat el repte de resoldre el cas cl\u00ednic d\u2019un o d\u2019una pacient a qui s\u2019ha diagnosticat un <strong>c\u00e0ncer d\u2019origen desconegut<\/strong>. S\u2019ha identificat fins a deu mutacions puntuals en gens que podrien estar relacionats amb el creixement tumoral en aquest o aquesta pacient i l\u2019alumnat haur\u00e0 d\u2019esbrinar quin o quins d\u2019ells podrien explicar l\u2019origen del tumor en aquest cas. Per aconseguir-ho, cada equip podr\u00e0 inactivar cadascun dels gens en models animals (ratolins) i avaluar els <strong>canvis en la seva expressi\u00f3<\/strong> a diferents teixits i en la <strong>taxa mit\u00f2tica<\/strong> (el ritme de divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular), determinada a partir de micrografies de cada teixit. Finalment haur\u00e0 de justificar la seva hip\u00f2tesi redactant un article cient\u00edfic per a una suposada revista de tem\u00e0tica m\u00e8dica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Els casos cl\u00ednics que hauran de resoldre els diferents equips de treball s\u00f3n ficticis i es generen de manera autom\u00e0tica i aleat\u00f2ria per mitj\u00e0 d\u2019una <a href=\"http:\/\/www.escolatecnos.cat\/biogeo\/knockout\/\">p\u00e0gina web interactiva<\/a>, que tamb\u00e9 permet a l\u2019alumnat simular el seu disseny experimental i presentar els resultats i les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies de la inactivaci\u00f3 de cada gen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pr\u00e8viament al plantejament del cas cl\u00ednic que vehicula la situaci\u00f3 d\u2019aprenentatge es proposen un conjunt d\u2019activitats orientades a con\u00e8ixer el funcionament del <strong>cicle i la divisi\u00f3 cel\u00b7lular<\/strong> i relacionar-lo amb la base biol\u00f2gica del c\u00e0ncer. L\u2019activitat inicial exposa el cas conegut de la mastectomia d\u2019Angelina Jolie per tal d\u2019identificar algunes idees pr\u00e8vies de l\u2019alumnat en relaci\u00f3 a la tem\u00e0tica de la situaci\u00f3 d\u2019aprenentatge i reflexionar sobre les implicacions socials i personals de la decisi\u00f3 de l\u2019actriu.
